Sent here by my oncologist for my update scans since it's closer to where I live.When I arrived (early) for my appointment, the person in charge said that I had to have a special paper from my doctor.This was the first I'd heard of this; I called my doctor's, but because it was so early, I got voice mail, it said a medical center could request further paperwork, but this person wouldn't do it; she said it was "my responsibility".My husband drove all the way back home to retrieve the paperwork we had.He called my doctor's, got through and found out that the proper papers had be seen over days before and they already had it.When he got back to Northside/East Cobb Imaging, he told the person now at the desk (the original person had disappeared) what my oncologist had told him, and she"found" the missing paperwork. By the time I was done I was very late for work. The person who started the problem never reappeared;the other employees did not want to give us her name. NO stars.AVOID.

I had a bad experience h ere. I went to great lengths to find a daycare that could take my baby for the morning (her first time away from home) so I could have an urgently needed screening done at the only time they said they had open for weeks. I bundled my baby up, took her out in single digit temps, and spent an hour driving in rush hour traffic to get her to daycare. As soon as I arrived I heard a voicemail (left 1 hour before my appointment) saying that the equipment was broken and I needed to reschedule. Without reason to leave my child at daycare, we headed back home in rush hour traffic. When I was almost home (10 minutes before my appointment time) I got another call saying that the equipment was working again and I should come at my originally scheduled time. Who can get anywhere in Atlanta in 10 min? Without time to get back to the daycare again, I turned around and drove directly back to the imaging center. I figured I had tried my best to get my child taken care of during the appointment, but that they would of course understand that the situation had changed due to their equipment failure. I took the time to complete paperwork and provide ID/insurance, and then someone came out and told me I could not have my baby there. I could not believe she actually said “Most people know that they cannot bring a baby with them to their doctor appointments”. I explained that the only reason I had her with me was because of their equipment issues, and them canceling and rescheduling my appointment last minute. I explained that I spent all morning driving around in rush hour traffic for hours to get my baby cared for during my appointment, but that we were in this predicament because of their issues, not mine. My baby was sound asleep and would have slept for another 1-2 hours, so they could have and should have made an exception to accommodate me, a customer who they had already inconvenienced so much. Instead, I left and made an appointment elsewhere. I will never go here again, or recommend this place to anyone.
