Tanner Paull is now TOMS FOOLERY. The food is EXCELLENT. It is our favorite Fish Fry in the area. So glad we checked it out. They need to get the word out that they are NEW business, no longer Tanner Paull. Baked Fish is tender, flaky. Fried fish is lightly battered. Potato pancakes are flaky and served with apple sauce. Sweet potato fries are tasty. YUM! We will be back.

When Lyle Sobczak ran the place. It was excellent. Then he retired from the business. It went down the hill. Not sure who is running it now. I never see much in cars around there.

Horrible service. New owners are rude and the bartender needs to be slapped. She doesn't even know how to make drinks right.

Tanner paul restaurent is under new management and the place will probably lose business if they treat all there customers the way I was treated. I ordered a fish dinner with extra fish and when I got my order home. The fish looked like fish sticks. I called the manager to complain she offered me a free soda. The old management was wonderful, this place is going down the toilet.

I'm wondering how the other person could phone in an order, they won't even answer their phone!! I planned on meeting my brother's family out - so a fairly large dinner party - I tried calling ahead, and the business will not answer the phone. I tried at least 7 times, the phone rings, sounds like it's being picked up - then a beep, like for a machine sounds. Apparently they don't feel they need to answer phones

We called for a "to go" order this past Friday & were told it would be ready in 40 minutes. Forty minutes later my husband went to pick up the fish fry and was told that it would be another FORTY minutes. Furious, my husband stated that over 40 minutes ago was told the order would be ready for pick-up and now you are telling me it is going to be another 40 minutes? The woman rudely and matter of factly told my husband that they had a "big party there" that night. My husband stated to the woman that the party had what to do with his order? The woman said they were very busy and to come back. My husband canceled the order. When he got home & informed me of what happened, I called and asked to speak to the manager and was told that he was "to busy" to come to the phone. I left my name & number & was told I would receive a call back by 9:30 - 10:00 and never did! Their customer and employee service was absolutely horrible. There is no doubt this party had a reservation - Legion Post, so why wouldn't they staff to accommodate their regular dining room customers?

I had my son's Baptism Party at Tanner Paul since the new owners took over and the service and food was excellent!!! The owners were absolutely wonderful and they catered to our every need leaving me to mingle with all my guests without ANY worries. I would highly recommend Tanner Paul, especially their Friday Fish Fry - it is one of the best I have had along with the Shrimp!!! I will continue to go there and take any friends and family.
