I love their ham and cheese sandwich. I never really had it that fresh. I love this place because it is so convenient to go, just a good walk away from my work.

I work at Vanderbilt and eat at the Vandy Deli almost every day. I love their food. It is fresh and very reasonably priced. They have daily specials, which include special subs, soups, salads, and other items. Although the deli is small and mostly for take out orders, it does not take long to get your food. Subs are made anyway you want with a large selection of breads, meats, cheeses, and toppings. Libby, the owner, usually has 1 or 2 soups and 1 or 2 salads on special every day. You can't go wrong at this deli and you won't spend a lot either. Just make sure you bring cash or a personal check, as they do not take credit cards.
