I have rented and purchased from Advantage Rental many times and have nothing but praise for them. Ray and Gordon in particular are professional, knowledgeable and always very helpful. Once, when I bought a new chain for my chain saw, Ray mounted the new chain, cleaned the air filter, gave my technical advice and instruction on performing the maintenance, and only charged me for the chain! They cant do stuff like that if the shop is busy but I have numerous other examples I can site regarding how helpful they are. These guys are great with advice and they maintain their equipment pretty well too. I know how tough it is to run a business and I will go out of my way to support a business like theirs. Even if theyre a little further from the job site, theyre worth the trip. Ive never seen them argue with a customer, so my guess is the guy above was being completely unreasonable. If you need to rent a tool, get from Advantage Rental.

I had a problem fixing a step outside my house and first went to home depot for assistance. Home Depot sold me the wrong tools and products and I was lucky i didn't get sued when a visitor fell after the botched job was done.Ray at Advantage Rental Centers REALLY helped me out. He understood the issue and explained the easiest, cheapest way to fix it. With a simple tool and supply I fixed it myself. I would always recommend Advantage Rental to anyone. They are SMART and CARE about their customers!!

We had a tough experience: very unprofessional and rude customer support, rented un-tuned equipment (hazard), improperly accessorized, and claiming to charge for the time the broken equipment was in your possession, offering the right fix/accessory on additional cost, even got the remark back (got the right tool eventually, at a different rental place).If you want to save some time and money, better look around, not even 1/2 mile away you will find WAY better services and less expensive, w included training when you pick up the equipment and far better customer support (flexible to accommodate your needs even if technically you should have paid extra).
