Great Atmosphere and you have ok prices. What makes it even better is you don't have 3+ squad cars sitting outside with bouncers acting like bullies, like other bars in the area.

The place needs some help. I went to the Corner Tavern with my husband for a Korean lunch. I recently saw an ad saying they now serve Korean and since the closest place we know of that serves Korean is up in Atlanta, we decided to give it a try. The set up of the tables needs help. Booths in the middle of the dining area and chairs at the ends of them. Not inviting at all. Food came in a bento box, but without kimchee. You get fried mushrooms instead. Odd, very odd. Ditch the mushrooms and add the kimchee and it'll be more authentic. Kimchee is available, though, as a separate order. I just didn't like the place for a lunchtime environment. It wasn't relaxing. Next time I want Korean, I'll get it to go.

If you're looking for a "Cheers" kinda of bar this is the best bet in the Newnan area. The bartenders and wait staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. The owner is always on the lookout for that "new" face and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. The food is alright, the drinks are strong and come at you fast. If you're looking for a quiet environment then this isn't the place to come. Give it a try-I'm glad I did.
