Very "Frustrated" today. My appointment was supposed to be the first one after lunch. I expected a wait based on past reviews. STILL waited 1 1/2 hours for the appointment. Very surprised to find out that the DR. has a broken finger. Surgery for our dog is dependent on her healing process. It would have been nice to know that she was injured prior to settting appointment. Nice person, highly capable not for me, though.

got exceptional care for our dog (Gracie). All the staff appeared to really care for our pouch's care. Got additional tips on how to care for her skin problems also. Dr. Collier was great. Vet with a heart! Thanks

I've been taking my dog to Dr. Collier for 5 years. We've had a couple of moderate waits but nothing I haven't experienced in other medical offices, and generally much shorter than what I've endured visiting my own doctor. I enjoy watching Dr. Collier handle my dog -- firm but reassuring -- and I love the way she moves efficiently through the evaluations. Although my dog really, really, really hates having lights shone in her eyes and tears measured and whatnot she still greets Dr. Collier with calmly and stays relatively unstressed during the exam. Which says a lot for Dr. Collier, since my dog is kind of tightly wound. The vet's explanations to me have been clear and she doesn't waste my time or money by demanding unnecessary consults. What my dog has can't be cured but has been well managed under this vet's care. Front office has been very responsive to my requests and seems reasonably well organized.

I don't think I've ever had a better experience at a veterinarian's office. The staff was polite and patient, and wait time for my appointment was minimal, maybe 10 or 15 minutes at most, most of that time being taken by my filling out the necessary initial paperwork. My dog is a very timid Great Dane rescue and she was treated with utmost patience and respect by Dr Collier. I received not only a thorough ophthalmoscopic exam for her, but many behavioral suggestions which were extremely helpful. Dr C's knowledge of my dog's genetic eye conditions associated with her deafness was comprehensive and was presented in an understandable fashion. I'll be seeing her exclusively if my dog needs any treatment in the future.---E Selden, MD

LOL, other reviews are dead on with negative comments about office organization. Plan to spend about 3 hrs waiting and getting through your appt. However, Dr. Collier is a board certified specialist in eyecare and has skills and knowledge that your regular vet does not. She has a captive audience in Tri-cities.

I drove an hour and half to have my dogs eyes checked. The dog was stressed out after the drive, he hates car rides. I waited an hour and half and still had not been seen. I was told by others in the waiting room that 2 hours is normal to wait to be seen. I asked the staff why they didn't call me and let me know they were running late and I would have rescheduled, they said "oh, the doctor doesn't want us to do that". So its ok that i drove all that way to see her and my dog was also upset but she isn't courteous enough to let us know she's running late? Not going back! I'll drive to Seattle to see a dog eye doctor. At least there's more than one to chose from and they don't think their "GOD!"
