Dr. Sukhija has been involved with many organizations including AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) and the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) since 1998. He currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer on the AAHA Board of Directors. Dr. Sukhija has been a member of FVMA (Florida Veterinary Medical Association) since 2005, and the VFVMA (Volusia Flagler Veterinary Medical Association) since 2006, of which he is a Past President. He has also been on the Board of the CATalyst Council, a national organization charged with improving the care cats receive, and is a Trustee for the AAHA Foundation.
