I can not believe the horrible review left by some people. They must be CRAZY! I've gone to many vets over the years and now have 3 dogs that are a handful to say the least, I've NEVER been treated with anything but kindness at Woodley Gardens. Dr S and Eileen are sweet, friendly and knowledgeable. I've been to some vets that are obviously just in it for the money and not for the love of animals. I wouldn't go anywhere else for care and I've recommended them to all of my friends. Maybe anonymous, you are one of those people that complain about everything or you bring out the worst in people. It just amazed me how businesses don't realize that they would not be in business if the clients were not there! No kidding! So maybe they should consider being nice to their clients! Annette is a good vet who might like some compassion skills, at least with some people - including me. I thought it was ok but too many things came into the scale and that's when I decided to leave. You see, my pets are a big part of my life, and I want the best for them. I believe in practices owned by vets. This clinic is owned by Annette and Eileen. Eileen did not like me or at least gave me a bipolar treatment. I thought it was ok until a point when she started to make decisions that could threaten the wellbeing of my pets. Screening calls is ok, as long as you allow the vet, Annette in this case, to answer them. When Eileen started to answer the questions herself, I realized it was time to go. I am not even upset. I just know that they were not the best I can give to my pets. I am moving on.

Doctor Annette C. Slowinski,DVM was very rude and seemed to be in a hurry. The first physical exam was 10 min and the bill was for $250.00 including medication. The price of the medication was 3x more than in a pet store. I would not recommend anyone go here and would suggest that they go elsewhere.

Dr. Slowinski (Annette) saved my cat's life. Tigger was vomiting, became very lethargic and had lost a lot of weight. Annette diagnosed Tigger's condition as diabetes and required a risky, but at-the-time breakthrough treatment of a new type of insulin shot supplemented with an all protein + fatty diet. Her "feed-him-anything-right-now-just-to-build-up-his-strength" was spot on. Two months later, no more shots and Tigger was back to his normal playful self! Annette became our vet for life. Not only is Annette very knowledgeable in her field, animals just seem to trust her with her calm and warm--but firm--demeanor. Annette also has great people-skills that is neither condescending nor judgmental. If you are looking for a vet who is very knowledgeable, has great people and animal skills and who you can trust implicitly, take your pet to Annette. Her love and devotion for animals is not only transparent to the pet, but also to the pet owners as well.

Ever 3,000 miles away Doctor Annette took care of our kids (the four legged kind). She not only saved Foster's life once she did it twice. She gave us advice that helped us work with our Vet in Clovis, California to give the proper care that we could afford without compromising the quaily of the care. She will give your the answers you need and understand when is comes to health issues of your animals. She is the Best!!

Dr. Slowinski has cared for our pups over several years. She is thorough, attentive, gentle and hard-working. She is the kind of doc that you want caring for a loved member of your family--even if that family member does have four legs, floppy ears and a tail!
