      Holiday Market began in 1954, founded by Tom and Janet Violante as a small neighborhood butcher shop and specialty grocery store with a focus on high quality, excellent products and friendly neighborhood service. Over the last half century the store has grown from a modest 2, 500 square feet to 60, 000 square feet, always preserving an emphasis on quality and service. Expanding to a larger space has allowed the Violante family to offer an ever increasing selection of premium foods from around the world. The Violante's children, Tom Jr. and Gina Mangold, along with Gina's husband, Craig, have overseen the growth that has led Holiday Market to be the Detroit Metro's leading choice for customers looking for the best in everything from fine imported wines to freshly baked bread just out of the oven. The family appreciation for fantastic cheeses, meats and seafood shows in the abundant selection of artisanal cheese, high quality meat and fresh seafood.
