If i can rate no stars I would! This place is horrendous! At one point I couldn't afford the rent, I went to them and told them that I couldn't afford and it they pretty much just said oh well and when I moved out, they wanted me to pay them for carpet cleaning that isn't required! They suggest we clean our carpets like that! But apparently a suggestion means that it's required. Well not according to state law it's not! This place is terrible! Parents don't allow your children to live here! It's the worst place I've ever lived! Don't do it!

If you're a mom, please read this. This complex and management are awful. Our first clue this would be a disaster should have been when they ask for a nonrefundable deposit. They would not allow us to see the apartment they were going to move my son into and now we know why. When we walked in for the first time, we immediately noticed mold and mildew on the walls and baseboards. His roommate explained the apartment has flooded twice due to the washing machine overflowing in the apartment above them. The carpet was drenched and never replaced or cleaned. The place was bug infested, smoke detectors missing, mildew everywhere, holes in the walls and generally unfit to live in. We complained and was told they would fix everything, but they didn't. Not only that, even though the lease expressly says only one person to a room, one of his roommates has his brother living with him. Even though reported, they did nothing about it. You do not want you son/daughter living here!

Great advertising, but in reality this place is a dump! Management is difficult to work with. Had maintenance issues that never got fixed. Had roommate issues that didn't get resolved.

I would not recommend to anyone! I have lived here for 2 years almost and hate it. Management is extremely rude. My window is messed up and leaks, or well pours, when it rains and have been since December and they have yet to fix it. They charge us more to live in a "gated community" but 99% of the time the fate doesn't work, when it does half of Ruston knows codes to get in so it doesn't matter. The rent is to expensive. Can't wait to move out.

My room mate informs me during summer 2012 the management had been ENTERING OUR APARTMENT, would UNLOCK and COME INTO MY BEDROOM without my PERMISSION OR NOTIFICATION, to show off my apartment. How flattering. They would leave my door unlocked when they left, left my ceiling fan on, and even burnt out my light bulbs because they left the lights on when they came in. I can understand management entering if there was a maintenance problem or emergency, but to simply show people like my room was a showroom was ridiculous. There is no telling how many times they brought people into my place while I was gone. And the thing that kills me is, THEY WOULD OF NEVER SAID ANYTHING HAD MY ROOM MATE NOT CAUGHT THEM! She was asleep when she heard the door unlock and people enter, they didn t know she was home at the apartment. This is just extremely shady in my opinion

I have lived here for almost 2 yrs. I can say it's the best place to live if you're going to Tech. I agree that the internet wasn't reliable at times, but they fixed it. I was told up front they provide ethernet and if we wanted wireless we would need to bring a router. No big deal. I don't know about trash in other buildings, but they have groundskeepers that clean up around mine daily, so no problem there. For all the amenities the rent is very reasonable. We don't have to share bathrooms, they provide washer/dryers in the apartment, free cable, internet, and the workout facility and pool are great. I don't understand the comments regarding management. Any issue that's come up they have taken care of, especially since management changed hands.

An apartment complex is only as good as it's management and the management here is based on the bottom dollar. This complex is made up of 90% students which depend on the internet. This apartment offers it as an amenity but management let's you know AFTER the fact that they have "upgraded " the Internet and it no longer works unless you buy individual equipment. This is set up to eventually charge for thus amenity. On a drive by the complex appears clean but trash is terrible in the complex. Maintenance is a major wait due to no manpower. Insulation is so poor you can hear people TALKING in adjacent units making sleeping or studying very difficult.

OMG where do I start. I you like terrible management and if you dont need the internet then its a great place. Otherwise, everyting about this place is terrible.

Although the apartments are brand new, and the amenity's such as the pool and gym were extremely nice to have, I would not live here again if THEY paid ME. Management pairs you with roommates, which they move into your apartment without telling you, the gate is never working, they put chains on the pool so it is impossible to get in and the computers in the computer lab do no have word and will not let you print . They place could be really nice, but the people that work there are running it into the ground.
