Welcome to Charles' Nature Gallery, a place to find quality photographs of landscapes, animals, water shots, man made constructions, and flowers and trees. I believe that our approach is quite unusual, in that we offers digital negatives for sale, as opposed to the finished product. The digital negatives which I take are all 16.2MB in size. With this much more data, you can produce an image that suits your own idea of how the finished product should look. Hue/saturation, contrast/brightness, and light type/intensity have many more options to chose from using the digital negative. It is ultimately cheaper to buy digital. If you are looking for relatively small photographs (8.5 X 11) and smaller, and you have a fairly new inkjet printer, you can produce lab quality prints without leaving your home/office. We think that the photograph is infinitely more important than the frame. Digital files are cheaper because there is no freight associated with them. If you backup the digital file in such a way that permanence is assured, the destruction of a print does not deprive you of the photograph. You can always make more. And making more means that if you really like the photograph, you can hang one at home, one at the office, a make as many desktop backgrounds as you wish with it. Once a digital file is purchased from my site, that file is quarantined, and no one else can download it. I guarantee uniqueness. Most of my photography is on public property, however, and there is nothing to prevent some one else from trapping the same view. I can produce prints for you, as well. Prints range in size from a smaller dimension of 11" to a smaller dimension of 24". The larger dimension will depend on the photograph itself. Not all photographs have the same dimension ratio. Panoramas for example are very short, but very broad. The 11" in this case may produce an 11 X 36 photograph. You may purchase a print either framed or unframed. Come on in and browse.
