Provided by YP.comNever again! Sorry, but we had read some of the reviews a year or so ago and decided not to try this 'Shack', but yesterday we thought Joe's had changed their ways. But no they hadn't. first off, it's waaaay too pricey, the order we did get was crappy shrimp that tasted like it had been in the freezer too long. I ordered some lobster bisque, but it was overloaded with cheese and the tomato sauce gave it a orange-cheesey cast that matched the bad taste it had. The server gladly exchanged it for some oyster stew, but that had a strange greyish cast to it and it tasted like the cloth used to wipe our tables with. My calamari was like eating deep-fried rubber bands.
After trying to enjoy this 'Feast from the Sea', I used the rest room. Oh Boy! if I'd have seen that place before we ordered, we would have just left.
My question is; Why hasn't the board of health closed this 'Shack' down ????

Provided by YPmobileFirst experience was awesome... our waitress Kaitlyn was professional and friendly making our experience that much more memorable as the restaurant was selected initially to celebrate my son's 15th birthday. In addition to the fantastic service the food was delicious and well worth the cost. I will definitely be returning in the near future...

Provided by YPmobileI dont know about the dishes there but the seafood buckets were great!..service was good except that they never removed the empty dishes so the table was kind of crowded..we liked the idea that we got to take the drinks jars with us..in general a very good experience
If you haven't eaten at Joe's Crabshack, you're missing out on a treat. The atmosphere is casual, yet the owner and staff make you feel like you belong there as part of their extended family. The juke box keeps you company as well as providing music for the staff to put on impromptue dance/entertainment sessions throughout the night. Patrons are encouraged to join in the fun! If you are looking for a quiet, intimate dinner for two, keep looking. But if a fun, party atmosphere is on the menu, look no further, (this place is a Chuy's on steroids). The fresh seafood is reasonably priced and so is the full bar. The food is delicious and will have you coming back for more. The servers are pleasant as well as efficient, and the bathrooms are clean! Plenty of parking in an easy to get to location. This is my first review so I hope I've covered everything. Oh, wait, it's also a family place that my four children enjoy as well. :) I recomend trying it out, and am sure you will too!

Provided by YP.comMy daughter and I went and we had fun! Our meal was really good. We each had 3 mussels that didn't open when cooked so the cook went and sent us a whole platter full of mussels to make up for those 6.
The waitress was very attentive. There was alot of singing and dancing that night and they removed the dirty dishes from our table.
We know when we can save up the money we will go back. We are on disability so it very rare if we can go out to eat. But the next time we can we are going back to Joe's!!!!
