A local favorite. I've always gotten good service. Has modest prices, good food. Not fancy but comfortable. Variety of steaks, prime rib, chicken or fish and plenty of vegetables to select from. Desserts are better than the usual steakhouse options. My friends love the prime rib. My favorite is their 'all you want' fish/chicken platter, that comes with hush puppies and cole slaw, choice of potatoes, or salad. I think the price is about $8.95. There are other specials and lunch prices are lower. This location, in Vonore, is convenient to Rarity Bay, Tellico Village, and Kahite resort retirement communities. There's a decent Italian place about 2 miles further north on Hwy 411 where you can have wine with dinner if you choose, since you can't get wine or beer at Countryside.
