      Cornerstone Health Group is a long-term acute health care facility. The Cornerstone ventilator program provides individualized treatment for patients with a wide variety of cardiopulmonary and medical needs, ranging from supplemental oxygen therapies to complex ventilator management and weaning strategies. Cornerstone offers mechanical ventilation support management and weaning utilizing invasive and noninvasive techniques. Its interdisciplinary care teams include medical staff, pulmonologists, nursing assistants, registered respiratory therapists, dieticians, pharmacists, case managers and social workers. Cornerstone s wound management program offers an acute-care hospital setting, certified wound, ostomy and continence nurses, wound and pain assessment, development of individual patient care plans and scheduled reassessments to monitor progress. It also offers nutritional management led by licensed dieticians, specialty beds and pressure relief equipment, daily physician visits, cardiovascular and dermatological consultations, bioengineered and antimicrobial dressings, surgical consultations and nutritional assessment. Cornerstone Health Group is located in Austin, Texas.
