General Info

Jose J Sanchez, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Sanchez joined Ascension Medical Group Via Christi in 1987. His special procedures include circumcision and wart removal. To him, the most rewarding thing about being a doctor is seeing his patients get better. If Dr. Sanchez hadn't chosen medicine, his career would be as a teacher, movie director or musician. He is originally from Mexico City, Mexico and grew up in Chicago, Illinois, but still fluently speaks Spanish. Not too many people know he taught for a year at Latino Youth Alternative High School in Chicago. Outside of work, Dr. Sanchez enjoys music, movies and working on model trains.
