Do not entrust anything to this place. Adams is a huckster and will not live up to his word. I took in my leather couch to have the seat replaced. The price started at 180. He started to tear down and found that all the padding needed to be replaced as my dogs had peed on it. I agreed to the now 500 price tag. He wanted most all the money up front but we only would give him a little more than half. He was cash only status and said he needed the money to buy the leather and materials. I waited with no contact for over a month finally tracking him down and picking up my couch. First notice was that the seat totally did not match it's accompanying love seat but I was ready to just get it back and cut ties with this man. I get it home and the cushion has actually been glued in and excess material is just shoved between the sides. I cut off a piece of the excess and found that it is not even leather he used cheap vinyl. I will be going to the courthouse tomorrow, not because I really care about this couch but because I researched this business thoroughly and have seen the complaints from many people that he has duped. Most people don't have time to pursue people like this so they can be brought to justice. I do.

Sectional was reupholstered in expected time + looked OK when first delivered. Family started pointing out things that didn't look right. Within a month seams on ottomans started shifting + overall baggy appearance emerged. Additionally, glue type substance discovered under top/side of top cushion of ottoman. Loose back couch cushions started shape-shifting + I repaired seam that was rapidly opening. Took another cushion to different upholsterer who showed me that original cushion had been simply covered over by new fabric with chopped filler material stuck in to add length. I checked one other cushion + found same thing. Then checked underneath upholstery of seating cushion of couch part of sectional + can feel zipper in back which I suspect is original couch cushion. (Can't tear it apart yet as have to use it until August when it will be recovered elsewhere NOT @ Ted's.) It troubled me to see my fabric on floor of shop as well as cushions on floor as this process unfolded. Was unaware when initially dealing with Ted that he had no regular vehicle to pick up or deliver furniture. He calls on friends with trucks for favors apparently. He did not share this info until pieces were finished + then became indignant that I didn't have my son pick them up. WHAT?!!! My grandsons eventually had to unload + return pieces to house. Smoky smell from shop is still dissipating more than a month later. To Ted's credit, he did alter size of back couch cushions when they were too high, BUT I paid for that. What with $400+ for fabric + $2000+ for upholstery job, I'm in very deep with little to show for it. Give this business 0 stars.

Mr. Kelly and his wife ask me the change the frame on the bottom of this chair the chair was a certain height they wanted it changed the chair was not level to begin with it was a swivel rocker the skirt on this swivel rocker made it look level but they did away with the skirt and were unhappy with the way it looked I tried to please this man three or four different times but it was unable to be done to his satisfaction I tried to please this man and every way I could but he was belligerent and yes I charged him extra money for building a subframe underneath his chair which he agreed on before I did it so his comments are not warranted in this situation it's not right to diss somebody business when they tried to please you in every way

I really loved my couch and chairs that the owner redone for me. The owner was really nice to me he told me a price and when I could pick it up. My couch and chairs got done when the owner said. I would recommend Adams Upholstery to any of my friends. I am going to get this shop to do my car as soon as I get to where I can. Thank you Mr. Adams for the wonderful job you done for me.

I really loved my couch that they recovered for me. The owner was very nice and done exactly what i asked him to do. I would recommend Adams Upholstery to any of my friends.

Mr Adams did not keep his word on price OR completion!! My chairs had to be redone 3 TIMES AND THEY WREAKED OF SMOKE!! He made promises he could NOT keep! He charged me extra and was very unprofessional!! I would NEVER recommend him to ANYONE!

Stay away from this place, the owner is a shady character, they messed up my car big time and they refuse to do the repairs, they jammed all wires and left several wires damaged. The owner "set up" 3 different appointments and never met expectations, always had an excuse...DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS RAT...

I like the work that they do it is just what i needed ., thank you Adams upholstery.
