great place to shop - clean and animals are super healthy. I got my bird, bearded dragon and hamsters from them.

Very great place to shop - they have everything for my pets. People there are caring and smart. Always friendly and their prices are better than anywhere else in town and I have been everywhere!

I felt the staff was unaware of the people coming and going. There was no acknowledgment. The store seemed dark and dirty, but it could be just old and run down.

This store has been around for more than 20 years. They have more experience and know more about the care of animals than any other store around! I cannot tell you how many times I have heard people tell me wrong information they got from other stores. Once you go here, you will never go anywhere else!

What a great place! Used aquariums and cages - cool! I saved a ton of money. I will go back to get Christmas presents for sure. My fish will all come from here from now on!

I had a really great experience shopping here for the first time. The people were friendly and helpful and the store has everything you could ever want! I do not live on this side of town, but I will come back regularly now. Overall a very pleasant place to shop.

I am glad the previous reviewer was so happy, but this store does not sell chinchillas. Maybe they got it confused with another store. My mother and I have shopped here for years and would not go anywhere else. Their prices cannot be beat and they have the healthiest animals anywhere!

The manager, staff and store are FABULOUS~! I have shopped at many petstores that may be neater, cleaner and newer but can not measure up to the quality of animals, care and knowledge that this store provides! You will be totally satisfied with this store! I purchased a chinchilla and a cage etc. and I absolutely love him, he is so previous to me! The manager even gave me a real discount on the cage and all the accessories. I would not hesitate in fact, I will not shop anywhere else other than this store to get my next pets from and their cages! The manger could not be any nicer and co-operative! Please visit this store and look around for your pet before hitting the big chains. The animals at those big chain stores and buddy I should know... are not well taken care of and many I have purchased before shopping at this store for my pets died very quickly. But none of my pets from this store have! They are all very hardy and very healthy!

Wonderful store! I agree with guest 78888. The owner and staff have always gone over and above to educate people about animals. I like to watch through the window while they hand feed their baby birds in the nursery. They have a separate room where they will babysit your animals while you are on vacation. My bird stays there everytime we go away. All the employees have many different pets of their own and know a lot about them. Prices are excellent. An overall great store!

I know the owner personally and whoever is leaving these bad remarks needs to know more. They have been in business for 20 years and have hundreds of regular customers. Every time another store has opened nearby (and there have been many through the years) Jeff, the owner, has welcomed them and even sent people to them for things he might not have in stock. He says there is always room for another GOOD pet store. He is all about educating people, especially the young, on the proper care and handling of all kinds of animals. He is always going to schools and day cares with his animals, giving talks and letting the kids pet and learn about them. He is certainly not in this for the money since he has another job too, so he cannot be there all the time. He depends on his employees most of whom have been with him for years. Please don't slander a great store, the employees, and owner. If you have a bad experience speak up while you are there don't be angry on the internet. Thanks.

This is a great store - I would not buy animals anywhere else. Both my birds came from here and they were hand fed and very loving. I bought a used cage for $300 less than the exact same new one at another store. I always shop around and I always end up here! Keep up the good work!!

This is the best pet store! I have never seen their fish tanks full of scum and I have been buying my fish there for 7 years. The staff is very helpful. It's always clean and the animals are healthy. Everyone should go in this store and see for yourself how great it is. It is amazing to me some of the comments here as I do not believe these people have ever been in the store or they are just jealous of a small home-owned and operated store being so successful. This store has won awards and has been featured in the newspaper and magazines regarding their excellence in animal care, customer service, and management. Go see for yourself!

Talk about BLIND!!! IMMACULATE....roflmao HARDLY! This store is the nastiest store by far. I have visited many stores throughout the southeast as I was once a rep for a large pet supply distributor and honestly with the exception of one other store, this one is at the bottom of the barrel. Disorganized, high priced, poor selection...I could go on and on etc. The good news is, they do sell used cages and accessories and they don't even charge for the dried poop. What a bargain. Yes buy local, but have some standards as well.

Best prices and service. Staff is the most knowledgable around. The animals are all very social and friendly. I think the bad reviewer is another store looking to degrade their competition.

I don't know if the bad reviewer is just blind or just angry at life. Every time I go in this store, it is IMMACULATE and well organized and the animals look GREAT. They are well cared for and the employees are SUPER. I would not shop anywhere else.

The employees are very unsocial and act like they don't want to be there. But then again who could blame them. This place is disgusting. It's dark, dirty, crowded with a bunch of junk. Dirty used cages they sell for the price of new ones at other pet stores. Not a great selection of anything and what they do have is over-priced. The animals are in small filthy cages. JUST PLAIN NASTY.

Best place for all pet needs. I shop here all the time. The prices are great and you can get pre-owned cages and aquariums and stuff for great savings. I have 4 pets and 3 of them came from here. My dog came from a shelter.
