Great place in Burbank to have Mexican food. Pretty atmosphere and decor including a lovely fountain. Service is great as are the margaritas!

I miss the Glendale Don Cuco but this location is pretty good. I like the layout and lighting of the restaurant and the food is pretty good. The margaritas seemed a little watered down but I'm not a regular here so I'll have to give them another shot. I'll try the Cadillac next time. Overall this is actually a top pick for me when dining locally. The service was good and we were seated quickly for a Friday night. My husband misses some soup they used to have at the Glendale location but I can't remember the name of it.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I like to share the fajitas with my daughter. The skinny margaritas are refreshing.

The food is pretty good and the staff is friendly, but it is very dark and loud, which makes it difficult bring my family. I know there isn't much they can do about the noise, but can we maybe turn the lights up a little so we can read our menus?

Love this plAce for the homey feel. The service. And the atmosphere. Food is good. Love the fajitas. They are always accommodating. And they make their own fresh tortillas.

Great atmosphere for pretty good Mexican food. I think I prefer their Riverside Drive location better. The fish tacos are my favorite! The service is pretty good, however they try to up-sale you quite a bit.

Authentic Mexican Cuisine Famous Margarita

General Info
From humble beginnings in the gulf city of Merida, Yucatan, Augusto "Cuco" Salazar Sr. departed from Mexico to the United States with nothing more than a suitcase, a passport and $100. For years, he worked two jobs saving every penny with aspirations to open his own business. The opportunity came and in 1969, he had saved enough to buy a small beer lounge. It was a good start, but Cuco yearned for more. Coincidentally, the location next door to the bar was put on the market and he decided to act. He sold his bar, bought the property and opened the first Don Cuco in Toluca Lake. With much determination, many old family recipes from Yucatan and a commitment to excellent service, Don Cuco has been a staple of Southern California´s Mexican dining scene.
