Long story short, they completely botched a hemming job on a VERY expensive dress.



Went in to get my $300 bridesmaid hemmed. Try on the dress & it's UNEVEN AND 1-2 INCHES SHORTER THAN ASKED. I come out of dressing room & point out that the front is longer than the sides, and dress varies from 1-2 inches too short. Woman working there says dress is shorter because the dress bunches up below the chest. I explain that this is irrelevant as the seamstress measured the dress, and this would of course make no sense.



Between various excuses I'm told it's the seamstress's word against mine so they can only offer me a discount -"No one is right or wrong"- I point out that if I ask for the dress to be touching the ground and that's what we agree upon, then it should be touching the ground. There IS a right and wrong. Woman asks me if I'm still going to wear the dress, as if that will justify them ruining it. OBVIOUSLY I CANNOT GO AND BUY ANOTHER $300 DRESS.



Never received an apology.

I have been using this cleaners for years. Their prices are much more reasonable than the other cleaners in SouthShore (its in an outdoor mall), and the service has always been friendly. The times I have needed something special done, they at least TRY. Which is a lot, if you ask me.

I would highly recommend not to go to this store for dry cleaning. I really doubt if they even have a dry cleaning equipment. They spoilt my extremely beautiful silk blouse, the shine is completely gone and it is completely stretched!! The owner was very very rude when he spoke with me. He did not even take responsibility for what had happened and then he makes a racist remark saying "clothes from india are cheap anyways!!"...

This is extremely ridiculos behaviour...



They might be charging the lowest rates for dry cleaning in this area, but definitely you may have to pay a huge price for it because of their mistake.
