BEWARE. There is no parking. Suite 500 is a 20’x20’ room with no windows or ventilation and is as packed as an East Indian traincar. This Dermatologist triple- and quadruple-books patients so there will be 50 to 60 people in this tiny waiting room and you will be standing for most of the 90 minutes you will be waiting past your scheduled appointment. The people waiting become rightfully pissed and the loudest complainers will be swiftly advanced to the front of the queue and be seen ahead of you, no matter how long you’ve been patiently waiting. Once you finally see one of these random dermatologists (I didn’t get to see the Dr. I scheduled with) you will get a no-lie, 30-second, best-guess assessment because they are trying so hard to manage the rampaging crowd and get them in and out as quick as possible. To top it all off, they will call in the wrong prescription to your pharmacist.

I have to say I was rather imp...

I have to say I was rather impressed with this office. I was concerned after reviewing the of the negative comments. I called in and was able to get an appoinment the next day! I was a new patient and they were able to send me my paperwork online to save time in the office! When I got there all I had to do was pay my copay and have them scan my cards. I waited about 20 minutes to see Dr. Glassman (which I was expecting to wait longer!) He came in the room with a nurse and addressed all of my concerns. I was in and out of the office in about 35 minutes. All in all a great experience.

the worst clinic I`ve ever seen

I had read bad patient reviews of Dr. Glassman on several sites but had also read he was a top doctor in the Washingtonian in 2005(not sure on the year). Let me clear the confusion...he is awful. Save your time, money and possibly your life by going to someone else. One of the poor reviews I had read of him had listed how little time he spent with patients. After reading this, I had my watch ready. One minute, sixteen seconds. Unbelievable. And this was for an annual mole check--I've had mole checks where doctors are looking at my scalp, feet, everywhere. I don't even think he looked at me. I had an 8:30am morning appointment so it wasn't like there were more serious patients bottle necking in the waiting room. He said less than 5 sentences to me, three of which were yes/no answers to my questions. His two sentences were "Here for a mole check?" and "come back in a year." Don't waste your time.

superficial

My husband and I went to see doctor Glassman last year. We had the appointment at the same time so we went in together. I had melanoma in 1997 and need to be checked every year to make sure none of my moles are changing. I'm used to doctors checking every inch of my body from my scalp to the bottom of my feet.

This doctor let me keep my undergarments and barely looked at the exposed skin while I was sitting on the examining table. He did not forget however to advertise about his cosmetic surgery procedures. He checked my husband mole without checking the rest of his back. Very scary! I've just seen a new doctor for this year check up and I was very pleased with her.

My husband has changed dermatologist too.
