The practice serves patients 12 and older in a friendly, welcoming setting and uses a solo boutique practice model. Doing so allows for more personalized care and a better patient experience. Dr. Gadlin spends much more time with his patients than traditional ophthalmologists. He serves as a technician, manager, administrator, billing specialist, and eye doctor at Athens Eye Consultants. He focuses on patient education and doesnâ??t treat patients as numbers. Wait times are short, and the practice doesnâ??t require new patient paperwork. Instead, Dr. Gadlin sits with each patient to review their medical history.
