Mr. Grey was on a cat spay/neuter trip, from Beckley's area. Operation Underdog took care of the paperwork, and an affordable rate was charged.Mr. Grey and I thank your Clinic, Doctors, Assistants, and OU!!!Be sure to view the dogs needing adoptions and fosters at HSRC and Operation Underdog on Facebook.Jane
I live in Charleston but take my animals here. This place is the best around.I wish they had a location closer but the kindness they show toward everyone and the care they take with the animals is amazing and worth the trip. Sometimes it may take a while but thats just because everyone knows this is the place to go. Would highly recommend to anyone that has animals.

Provided by YPmobileMonday I had Mia fixed and declawed at help for animals, and they had to keep her overnight for observations. I picked her up on Tuesday and she was feeling just fine, other than being sore. Wednesday I noticed she was acting weird, and barely walking, but I just thought she was drunk because of her pain medicine. Thursday was even worse, she wasn't eating or drinking, walking, using the potty, and wouldn't move. Then yesterday, she started breathing real heavy. I called the emergency number for help for animals and all she said was to give her yogurt and tuna and that she'd call me back at 9pm about another prescription of antibiotics. Never called until 3 today. We had to take her to the ER in kenova last night and thank goodness we did. My poor girls stomach was badly infected, and running a fever of 105. Come to find out help for animals doesn't use sterile instruments for surgery and cut every corner they can to get 50 animals done in one day, INCLUDING USING THE SAME SCALPEL on god only knows how many other animals. Mia could have died because of this and still isn't feel the best. She's now on 2 antibiotics and pain medicine all because help for animals is cheap and lazy. So if you have animals needing fixed, please be aware of this and take them somewhere else unless you want your baby almost dying. I guess it is true, ya get what you pay for. Never again will I go to help for animals

Provided by YP.comI have taken several animals to be spayed at this clinic. The people were very nice, the vets were friendly and took time to talk with us. My animals healed very well, and I have told several friends about this clinic. With the high cost of animal health, this place has been a blessing for me and my furry kids.

Provided by YP.comCheap prices and cheap service. Rude front desk and they butchered my dogs neutering. They missed a testy the first time. ???Don't ask me??? Had to do it twice (few weeks in between) and the second time they didn't even stitch him back up properly, leaving a huge open wound. Will not take my pets back and absolutely would not recommend this place.
Kelly,You and the staff are the best!!! * 8 years and going! Diana, rascal, talon, thumper, fat patty, boyd, star, and sadly missed, Taffy and Tater. Bless you for the help,' understanding, and kindness to us and our 4 footed family. Thank-You.
I would for sure recommend them also they treat your animals like one of their own got all my girls spayed there. just recently i just took my pekepoo to have a really good sized bladder stone removed it was over half way cheaper then what my vet in columbus ohio estmated me they are awsome the doc is awsome so if you can go there please do its way worth the money way cheaper then a regular vet look it up.. Many people drop unwanted animals on or around our farm. We try to help all of them and we fall in love and keep some of them. We always spay or neuter them at Help for Animals and get their shots done. Without their discounted rates we could never afford to rescue as many animals as we do. Their staff and service is always very good. I highly recommend their clinic and thank them for their efforts to help and protect pets of all types.

Provided by YP.comThis clinic was recommended to me because of the low price of services. My puppy was taken into this clinic three times...and it wasn't until the third time that they realized my puppy was a female dog, not a male. I was outraged (and embarrassed) and will not be taking my animal there again or recommend this clinic to anyone. I gave one star because of their very low prices. I am concerned that the low prices translated into a poor level of care and inattention to what should be rather obvious details to a trained professional.

Provided by YP.comI have my first pet ever, a Boston Terrier that I got from a friend when he was only 8 weeks old. He has been a true blessing to me. We took him for his first shots a few weeks ago, and I was very pleased that the wait was not long even though there was a line. The girl that administered the shot was very friendly and answered all my questions. She advised me of my pets needs for vaccinations and if we decide to neuter him (definitely very soon) how it is handled (drop him off in the morning, pick him up in the evening, free Rabies shot with neutering). I was very grateful for the information she provided. I'm sure they will do a great job when I take him in for neutering.
