Informative

Dr. Landa explained the symptoms of allergic reactions and how to properly use an Epipen. This was important because my son suffers from food allergies. It gave me a sense of security.

General Info
Dr. Dahlia Landa, a Queens County native and current resident, completed her undergraduate studies at SUNY Binghamton, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Biology. She then went on to earn her medical degree at Upstate Medical College of Medicine, in Syracuse NY before completing her residency program at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park. Dr. Landa received her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology from the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, also located in New Hyde Park.She has spent the past nine years serving patient needs at a local New York practice, while simultaneously working as part of the voluntary faculty-Preceptor Allergy/Immunology/Fellows Clinic-at Northwell Health. Her experience treating allergy patients extends into her personal life as well as both her husband and her daughter suffer from either seasonal or food allergies.Dr. Landa's natural warmth and gracious compassionate demeanor, in concert with the thoroughness of her expert clinical care, has resulted in her being universally loved by patients and highly regarded by colleagues and staff.She is widely published in the field, on topics including: Eosinophilic Esophagitis and Underlying Disease Conditions, Hypocalcemia and Tetany in a Child with Multiple Food Allergies, Granulomatous Disease Mimicking Angioedema in a Patient with Long-standing Common Variable Immunodeficiency, and A Novel Mechanism for the Anti-Inflammatory Effects of Tetracycline Antibiotics. She is also a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the Long Island Allergy and Asthma Society.Dr. Landa speaks English, Spanish and Hebrew.
