** THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY THEN RISK YOUR LIFE **
Took the family out for some water fun - we’ve been jet skiing before with other companies & loved it. They charge more than their listed price for using credit cards so we paid cash - HUGE MISTAKE. The water wasWAY too choppy to safely do either banana boat rides or jetski - they said we’d be FINE. I got tossed off the banana boat almost immediately & couldn’t get back on - my family jumped into the water to help me get safely back to shore. THAT forfeited the $60 we had paid for everyone’s ride. We had paid for two jet skis for an hour each for $90/jetski - hubby & son got tossed off riding fairly slowly - the Mgr John was screaming at his single staff person to take someone else’s money rather than directing him to help my hubby & son. He could have taken another jet ski to go help them, but instead sat himself down at the bar & ignored me when I approached. They managed to come in on their own within 15 minutes - We had paid $240 up front, the Mgr gave us back just $80 total, and then disappeared. He then blamed US for not coming out in the morning when the water was smoother. TERRIBLE EXCUSE for a human being - take yourself elsewhere - this guy just doesn’t give a damn about your safety. He’ll just take your money & run. PS They have a partner in the parking lot who cases your car while you’re at the beach below. Seriously - all over a horrifying experience.

We have been coming here for years and we enjoy being able to rent a chair and umbrella while the kids play on beach. We always rent a jet ski for an hour every summer, which the boys love! The best part is the employees who work there every summer always remember us! We have tried staying at other hotels in the past but none of them have businesses like Captain Jacks. The other review I read is almost comical, in all the years we have never experienced anything like that nor seen anything like that. Most importantly, Captain Jacks is located on the Bay of Corpus Christi and not the "ocean." We look forward to our next visit!

Great place. My family and I, had a great time. This place is on Corpus Christi bay. You can see Port-A from here. Don't have to worry about rip currents or seaweed. The people were very helpful and nice. Will be back later in the summer.

Great service! I called a day before and they were very clear about everything, The workers Michael and Jorge help us, amazing customer service, they got there and made the process fast and we got on the jetski pretty fast, and we had a blast. Thank you for the experience!

Liz was Amazing! I called Captain Jack and he told me to look for Liz under the Blue Canopy and she helped us get set up w/ jet skis and the Torpedo! I had 8 teenage boys with us and she helped w/ vests and canopy and chairs for the boys waiting to ride! We had a Blast and will definitely come back to Captain Jack's for all our future rentals!
