      With a location in El Paso, Texas, Texas RioGrande Legal Aid is a nonprofit agency that specializes in providing free civil legal services to low-income and disadvantaged residents of Texas. The agency employs more than 100 lawyers and over 50 paralegals and social workers in nearly 10 offices. Its practice areas include economic self-sufficiency, domestic violence, fair housing, children s rights, elder law, disability rights, public benefits, consumer protection, environmental justice, displaced workers and homelessness. Texas RioGrande Legal Aid works in collaboration with a number of nonprofit organizations, including domestic violence shelters, community development corporations, and housing and revitalization organizations. It also provides staff and volunteer private attorneys to assist nonprofit organizations with legal issues.
