      Mercy Hospital of Folsom, opened in 1962, is a part of Catholic Healthcare West, which is a system of more than 40 hospitals and medical centers in California, Arizona and Nevada. The hospital offers noninvasive testing and cardiac intensive care monitoring services. Its over 20,000-square-foot emergency department provides a range of surgical services. Mercy Hospital of Folsom maintains a family birth center that features nearly 10 private postpartum rooms and a nursery. The hospital also operates free family clinics that offer infant and child health care, family medicine and physical examination services. Its home care team includes nurses, therapists, aides and medical social workers. The hospital s rehabilitation department provides physical, occupational and speech therapies for adolescents and adults. Mercy Hospital of Folsom has more than 350 physicians.
