Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Gonzales, LA serves as a satellite location that offers everything from radiation therapy and cancer screenings to survivorship support services. Radiation therapy is used to damage the DNA of cancer cells, while cancer screenings can provide early detection, potentially increasing the chances of survival. Our survivorship program is designed to provide emotional, social, and spiritual support to survivors. Our medical team includes medical oncologists and radiation oncologists with certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
