Beware they hide under the Van Lines umbrella. They are not Better Business Bureau accredited! While my mother was dying in the hospital they changed the time/date 6 times. Then they finally arrived the day after she passed,I explained to them I would be taking less belongings. The original quote was $1,050 so they increased it $400. They videoed everything they were supposed to pack up. So I left them to do their job while I finished upstairs. After they left I walked through the basement and realized they had forgotten an antique table and chairs. When I called them they refused to turn around and get it. When I called them about the problem an extremely rude foreign man whom I had never spoke with before got on the phone and started screaming at me telling me that it was my fault because I should have stood there with the movers the whole time. Then he told me he would give me $50 off but threatened me because I told him I was going to post reviews about this company everywhere.

The company in the picture is not the company that shows up. These people are under the umbrella Van Lines so that they have plenty of Shadows to hide under. They are not Better Business Bureau accredited.... They gave me a quote of 303 cf for $1,050. When they finally showed up I explained I had less things going and they increase the price almost $400. Then they forgot an antique table and chairs and refused to come back and get it. They took a video of the things they were supposed to bring so I'm not sure how they messed that up. They offered a $50 credit because they forgot the table and chairs and threatened me when I told them I was going to make this complaint online. Save your money and your headache and go to someone who is accredited.

A friend of mine went with Van Lines USA, so I decided to do the same. The guys were pretty amazing.

Ivan was super communicative (even during the wee hours at night) throughout the whole process. Brian came by to do an estimate, and was very nice and thorough about the thing. Also kept on telling me that their goal was to make sure *I* don't have to worry about a thing when they were moving.

He also recommended I get 4 guys to move instead of 3, which in the end turned out to be one of the best decisions ever.

I have a LOT of crap, and I had the guys wrap and pack my dish/glassware and some fragile souvenirs, which took up some time. While the move went 3-4 hours over the original estimate of 6 hours (roughly 10 hours including drive time), they only charged me for 8 because of factors we couldn't control at the move-in place (distance from truck to elevator, etc...).

The moving guys were meticulous with the wrapping of furniture and glassware. In fact, there's so much wrapping paper that I could throw my glassware down 3 stories and it probably wouldn't break. As far as I can tell, not even a scratch or chip anywhere on furniture or equipment. The best part is, I had a bunch of random things that I didn't know how to pack, and also ran out of boxes, both of which the guys took care of without me having to worry.

All in all, even though this was a crazy difficult move, I was very glad that I had the movers I had for it. It was definitely my least stressful move, and I will definitely use Van Lines USA again when I move in the future. Great work guys!

I just woke up in my new home and just am so happy to have this move completed. I am filling out the customer satisfaction report as requested, because Van Lines USA did a fantastic job. My consulant was very patient and new what he was talking about. The crew was very good and nice as well. They even told me of a really good steak place in town. All in all very good company. My highest regards.

Overall I had a positive experience using Van Lines USA – Jeff and his crew. I would've given them 5 stars overall but went with 4 because we had originally talked about a 2 man crew but due to some scheduling issues, a 3 man crew showed up instead of a 2 man crew. They were on time as promised and did the move well but I was unexpectedly charged $130/hr for a 3 man crew. Jeff did point out to me a 3 man crew did the job faster than a 2 man crew which was probably valid, but my expectations were already set from before. Not a big deal though....



Anyway, Jeff and his crew were efficient, careful, fast, and did a great job overall. I tipped them and would definitely recommend their services for any move. Thank you lads!

The crew showed up right on time, they actually brought an additional helper for no extra charge! (I requested to have 2 movers, but 3 showed up, which definitely helped with speeding up the move, and they did not ask for more money, which I thought that was surprisingly nice since I had a certain budget in mind ).

They were very professional, brought the right tools, equipment, boxes, and was very efficient during the move (no slacking off which is good). The staff was also friendly, cheerful, and attentive too I must say. They saw me trying to help with some stuff, and they jumped on it right away and gave me something even lighter to carry.

The other worth mention quality about this service is the price they charge, which is lower than all the other places that I've called. It's probably the most value worth service you can find in the bay area.

I'd definitely hire them again if I ever move again or recommend them to other people who are looking.

I was pretty frazzled about the whole moving experience, but they put me at ease. When I had questions during the weeks before my move, I usually got a reply to my email or call the same day. The day of my move, the guys themselves were friendly and easy-going and complimented my packing. I was originally scheduled for four movers but one guy showed up late since he was traveling separately. Most companies would just charge you the four guy rate the whole time anyway since you'd already agreed to it, but I was only charged for three until the time that the fourth showed up. There also weren't any surprise charges on the bill, and I liked feeling that I didn't have to be on guard the whole time for some kind of scam. They want you to be happy with your move so you'll recommend them to others and use them again, which is the way it should be. These guys are top notch. Professional, punctual, courteous, efficient, strong, quick, trustworthy and priced-well. Everything you want from your mover.

Just hired these guys to do my move. I was worried that paying by the hour, the price could easily run up on me, and that I might regret not going with a mover who ofered me a binding estimate. The reason I did not go with the mover that offered me a binding estimate is because I got bad vibes from him...a gut instinct. So, I took my chance and went with Van Lines Usa. These guys were great! They worked fast, were very nice, and finished right at the minimum 3 hour hire for the whole move. In the end, it came to substantially less than the quotes I was getting from others, including the binding estimate mover guy. Based on this experience, I have realized that many moving companies go by the amount of stuff you move, so if you add a desk, it will add up your charge, even if that only adds another 2 minutes to the whole move. I think hourly is the way to go. Of course, it helps to make it easy on them by having everything well-packed and ready to go.

Van Lines Usa did a great job! They moved my stuff and I from HollyWood, FL to New York. The whole team was efficient and polite (including putting up with my chatty and "supervisory" dad). All three movers respected our requests on the few boxes marked "fragile" or "do not stack". Every furnishing and dish arrived complete and unscratched. It was impressive how well they worked together. They completed our move in less time then estimated, so we even came in under budget. We especially liked their careful wrapping of our heirloom dressers, full-length mirror, and grandmother clock. I was definitely worried about the scam warnings and horror stories I hear about Florida moving companies, but Van Lines Usa was honest and capable throughout our move. I am going to spread the word about this company and hope everyone understands they offer a great service, have good prices, and they are not those usual douche bag movers that have an attitude and are out to rip you off. Moving has never been such a breeze to me. I recently move from Florida to Denver. Everyone from the sales rep to the actual movers where very professional and very helpful. This is the first time I used a moving company so, I had many questions to be answered. They took the time to sit there and explain to me in full details all the requirements needed to achieve a successful move. They even send out one of their rep to my home free of charge. I was able to receive a binding price which guarantees my moving cost. All together Van Lines USA Inc showed a great interest in customer satisfaction and I will be more then pleased to recommend them to all my friends. They were one day late for delivery but they did compensated me for that. Overall I am very satisfied with my move and the movers who moved me.

They are the absolute best. I am so happy. I moved long distance which was kind of scary cause I never did this before and thanks to them it went hassle free. They charged me a fair price and handled my furniture like it was theirs. I have moved from Orlando, FL to Santa Barbara California for work. They made what could have been a stressful time in my life go smooth. Best move ever. I am very Grateful.
