It’s sad to see this place given low ratings. I had enough with low professionalism with this establishment. 1. You make an appointment at a certain time And always having to wait in my car in the hot summer heat wave for 48 minutes or more to be attended. One time it was over an hour to be attended. The response desk are rude and management need new ways to implement new rules because it’s real bad service. If you love your dog don’t bring them here.
2. They also charge you for stuff that did not happen, not once but more then two times. Customer always needing to correct their invoices.
3. So imagine. They won’t let the dog owner come in but only dog is allowed to come. No way of knowing if these procedures taking place. I totally lost trust with This Veterinarian and staff. Always hearing their excuse of Covid 19 being in place for customers not allowing to come in. It’s total BS especially when cars AC don’t work efficiently when engine is in idle.

Giving another update as of May 13,2022. Went to another Vet and they called this lousy place to get information; their excuse that my dog is aggressive when owner is not around. I wonder why; maybe it’s because they make us wait in our cars for hours.

I live in Katy and our Caucasian Shepherd, which is a rare breed, got so ill. and took him to emergency care NHVS in katy. They gave me a huge bill but, did nothing. and he started to get very ill. and I was helpless. A friend referred me to South Belt Animal Hospital and as soon as I explained the symptoms, Dr. Boppana knew what was going on and he ran proper tests and diagnosed the problem within minutes, gave proper treatment and saved our pets life. with so much care and love. Today, our Hannibal (his name) is alive because of Dr. Boppana. Thank you so much. :-)

I give up on all the other places. NHVS, Banfield, and few other places. They all so very commercial and just care for money. Even though it's an hour drive, I will only trust Dr. Boppana. Not only quality service but, also extremely reasonable. I really hope they open another branch in Katy.

We love this Vet. It is very easy to make an appointment the same day, and the service is fantastic. Dr. Boppana, the vet explains everything very thoroughly to us. Most importantly, our pet is treated very well. We find that our pet also gets well very quickly. The doctor follows up after the visit, with phone calls to make certain that our pet is doing well. I would highly reccomend this vet to anyone who has a pet that they love.

I LOVE South Belt Animal Hospital. I brought 2 dogs I found on the street here to get them checked out in October last year. The staff and vet were all so friendly and explained all the test results, even letting me look through the microscope to see what was going on. I got all vaccines done and prescriptions for medications they needed. They gave all sorts of reccomendations for things I asked about. I have been back twice since then for health concerns with one of the dogs. They got me in ASAP and even sat us in the room early when I arrived earlier than my appointment. It is always in and out but I never leave with a question un answered. They are open Saturdays which works great with my work schedule and always give me a follow up call to make sure my dogs are doing ok. An added bonus is the cream cheese dipped treats they give at the beginning and end of the appointments, they know how to spoil the doggies! I work at a dental office close by and always reccomend my patients here. If you are looking for a clean, nice, and affordable vet then this is your place!
