Great atmosphere but bad service. The food is decent but a bit overpriced. That is about all I have to say on that matter.

Great place to get a bite and a drink. The service sometimes is iffy, but you can't win them all. I really like the curry.

Love this place and have been coming here for years. They atmosphere is very pub-like and the staff is very friendly. The owner is a bit of whack job, but he usually leaves you alone. The food is also great as I love the curry and the other dishes I have tried. It is far better than 'bar' food.

Not everything it is cracked up to be...

Saw this pub on a TV show I watched..."Diners, Drive Ins, and DIves" on the Food network. Having grown up in England, I may be a little spoiled, eventhough British food would qualify more as comfort food rather than culianry wizardry... I have looked forward to this evening for the past 2 weeks as I have been in Houston on business. Last night I started the evening with a nice English "London" pint. Pretty good.

My appitizer was a curry pastry item for $10. I ate one of the 3.

My meal was Shephards Pie, which was featured on the show. It was mediorce at best. Certainly not what Grandma in England, made or what I make for that matter. My business associate had the Fish and Chips. The batter was not crispy, and the taste was reasonably bland. Either this was an off night all the way around, or my faith in "Drive-ins, Diners and Dives" will not be so compelling.

The atmosphere was just as a pub should be. the service was good...The food for a $35 meal was not. Thank you. I may go back...but it will strictly be to get a good English Pint.
