After my first experience at Pet Warehouse I searched desperately to find another store that carries our dogs' brand of food so that I would never have to repeat the experience again. Unfortunately, there is only one other store in Jacksonville that does, and occasionally I am unable to get to them before they close. On these rare occasions, I am forced to give Pet Warehouse my business. Their customer service is beyond deplorable, but not non-existant, as they appear to go out of their way to make the worst impression possible. Last night was icing on the cake. I am very, very pregnant and as I struggled to heft a 40 pound bag of dog food down a ridiculously narrow aisle, I actually had to ask a sales person to please move so that I might get by. This girl not only moved a fraction of an inched but audibly sighed her total discontent at the inconvenience. This dance was repeated again at the register, where I again had to approach a group, 5 employees gathered in a circle next to the register, and ask if any of them might be able to ring up my purchase. All of them looked completely put out and not a single one even uttered a word! No one asked if they could help me carry my bag to the car or even place it on the counter. Now, normally I would not be so irked by this kind of neglect, however, as a norm, when you see an obviously pregnant woman struggling and you WORK at the store, you should as if you can help. It's not outstanding customer service to do so, it's common curtesy-- something they obviously lack. I did carry my dog food out to my car and promised myself not only to not return, but to pass along to heads up to others. I'm convinced I would have had more attentive service if I had showed up with a ski mask on and gun in hand. Save yourself the frustration and insult... go to across Western to PetsMart or down 17 to Pumpkin Center.

I love Pet Wearhouse! We have Dogs and fish and we go there for everything we need Not once have the employees ever been rude they all seem to care Alot about all the animals! I feel they are very knowlagable of all the animals they carry.I recomend this pet store for any questions about your pets or anything your pet needs.

Petwarehouse, is full of sick and abused animals. They purchase MILL animals, and sell them as REGISTERED treats. All of them are OVER PRICED, and generally unhealthy, whether it is Deadly illness, or diarrhea. Their associates are mostly rude, and inconsiderate, none of them REALLY seem to care for animals, and their associates are generally completely UNKNOWLEDGABLE unless they have a piece of paper in front of them telling them what to say. I hope they find their business closing, and I am sorry for any consumer that is under their falseness. Don't BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE!!!!
