DO NOT GO TO AAMCO, ESPECIALLY...

DO NOT GO TO AAMCO, ESPECIALLY WINCHEST COVE OR BARTLETT LOCATIONS! See my review on Google for full story. Each location lied to us repeatedly. It took over 13 weeks to get the van back in running condition but with dry-rotted tires because it stayed park there so long, it had broken electric seat panel, broken CDs from our console, broken transmission linkage shifter cable ($140 part) they tried to hide with a cheap clamp. When we paid them the first time we picked it up they said it was fixed. I asked if they drove it, they said "yes". I paid over $2700 in full...that was the beginning of my nightmare. My advice is to stay away from AAMCO, if you've already taken you vehicle there...don't pay them until you drive it for at least 15-20 miles. They won't help you after they get your money!!!! Through all of the lies, long trips to Memphis, phones calls and broken promises I never yelled at them, I never used bad language with them. It never mattered. They had no intention of fixing it until we demanded it. I believe they just hoped we give up and never come back even though the van wasn't fixed and we paid almost $3000! The Bartlett location never looked at it after we took it to them. Bartlett AAMCO called the Winchest Cove location to come and get it as soon as we left it and then told us for over 3 weeks they were trying different things and waiting on parts. The manager there wouldn't even talk to me about it when I asked him why he had our van towed to someone he knew we had problems with...he just kept yelling at me "I DON'T HAVE YOUR VAN, YOU'LL HAVE TO CALL THEM". The manager there is completely unhelpful, uncaring and has no problem telling lies directly to you. DO NOT USE AAMCO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
