Bottom line - Marks Appliance Service is the only one I will have in my home and recommend. Arrived ahead of time and had this dryer fixed in no time at all. Actually it's quieter than when I purchased it. He's VERY straight forward, honest and the workmanship is without question exactly who you want in your home fixing any and all appliances. What a blessing to have found his service. A HUGE thank you Mark!
Mark was very prompt in coming to our house to fix our three year old washer that had broken. He was very professional and friendly. He was able to bring our washer back to life for a very fair cost. I would recommend him to others in the area and was happy to learn he fixes all types of appliances. Will call again!
Mark repaired three different appliances since I first met him. Each time he has been very professional. He gets right to work, explains the issue and provides advice on the care of the appliance.
I will add that he has a wealth of experience and a pleasant disposition. I highly recommend him.
I went down to the kitchen this morning and discovered my fridge/freezer wasn't working. I called around to quite a few places- all of which charged out the a*s for the visit/diagnostic (incidentally all were corporations). I decided to try looking for a local place (LOVE supporting local). Lo and behold I came across Mark's and I'm so happy I did! I'm not sure if it's a one-man show there- but even though he was stacked for the day he still found time to come out, do the diagnostic (free of charge by the way), and repair the fridge/freezer. I appreciate the timeliness given this was an emergency and that he was already booked for the day. Didn't overcharge and was very personable and willing to answer any/all questions I had.
I usually don't write reviews but I chose to this time because (A.) he did a great job and (B.) I believe supporting local/mom & pops businesses are important-at least when they're outstanding.
Our fridge wasn't running like it should have been, i made a few calls sat afternoon, mark was the only one that returned our call and even came out to do the first free diagnostic repair on sun. And had the fan with him on his truck, same day service and we are up and running again!
We have had Mark repair a few of our appliances (dryer and dishwasher). He has always been on time, fixed the problem quickly, and answered all of our questions. He is fair and professional. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking for an appliance repairman.
Very disappointed with our experience -- initially used Mark for a few repairs and he was very good. But this last time, he did not show up to the scheduled appointment two times and never returned phone calls. Turns out we're glad we didn't use him because if there had been a problem with the repair, we obviously would have been left to deal with it on our own. Too bad -- we are constantly asked for so many recommendations by neighbors/friends, too. He certainly won't be getting any recommendations from us .
