I was referred to Woodruff Auto shortly after moving to the Ogden area by someone at an auto parts store. I'm really glad I decided to give them a try though their shop is a bit of a drive out for me. I've taken my van twice to them and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I've received. I've never felt more confident in an auto mechanic shop before.

I used Woodruff to replace the engine 5.4l triton on my bifuel CNG F150 and they did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone. They aren't the cheapest, but they have always done the job right for me. Also I use them to get the safety and emissions done on my RV every year. A+

My experience through woodruff auto was HORRIBLE!! Quoted me a solid on paper quote of exactly how much my car would be to fix, not only did I end up paying for extra additional "hidden" charges when they told me my car was "complete but problem still unfound"...(after promising to contact me and give me a heads up before ANY additional charges$$ increased on my bill..which he didn't). My vehicle had a shake and wobble even after paying the huge $970 bill and did not complete the issues. They even tried the oldest mechanic con in the book, trying to get me to leave my car for "unlimited hours" because they stated they had "no idea" what the problem was AFTER charging me 970! Do not become "trapped " like me bringing your car to Woody at woodruff. If you take your car to woodruff make sure your ready to have your wallet open and no solid expectation or idea of what could be wrong with your vehicle, and be prepared for hidden charges and "smooth mechanic slyde of hand"!!

Brought in a vehicle that I complained had a bad noise coming from the 4WD trans-axle in front. They stated that it was "normal" according to their mechanic. Six weeks later, the noise increased to an alarming rate, and we found out that it was the trans-axle and that the bearing had died. This resulted in so much damage that I had to have the entire trans-axle replaced. They stated that I'd get a "break", but the grand total was over $1200.00 worth of damage to repair. I've heard good things, and that prices were fair, however my particular experience was a bit less than satisfactory.

They have always provided great on-time service and have always backed up their work!
