Have been there OFTEN and ALWAYS everyone is so cheerful, food is excellent, coffee is FREE and makes our day.

The best breakfast ever. Red Apple Pancake House & Caf is one of the best Restaurants in the state. It is one of the best in the country. The staff is very friendly and they treat you like family. The menu is full of great selections with the best ingredients. The best homemade muffins anywhere. I can't wait to go back again.

Great service, outstanding food, large portions, ample parking area.what more do you want. I am a big eater but still took home a nice sized next day breakfast.Give them a try!

My husband and I ate here thinking it is super busy so it must be good. We could not have been more wrong. We eat breakfast out frequently and compared to other places in town this place is horrible. The waitress was awful, taking forever to greet and get our drink order. She was very short and snippy with us when we placed our order. The table we were at was in the corner and against the wall less then 1 foot away from he table next to us. My husband and I said with all the people here and service like this the food must be really good. Again, we could not have been more wrong. Everything we ordered was terrible so bad we didn't finish and we just left. My opinion eat at Grammy D's on Northwest Highway (about 2 miles away) fresh homemade food and good prices. Don't waist your time OR MONEY here.- We won't be giving this place a second chance.

Wow! Fresh and delicious, my quiche had a wonderful flaky crust and was one of the best I've ever eaten. Next time I'm going for the crab cakes benedict. The place was packed and now I know why, and extensive menu and large portions make this one a winner! The fresh fruit side option is a great change from the usual starches. Marge

We recently visited Red Apple and was totally surprised by a selection of great food, friendly service and good value for money. I'm sure this will become one of Palatine's true gems.

We went to Red Apple for lunch on 7/20/09 . The service and the food were both excellent. The serving sizes are very generous. Can't wait to try them for breakfast this weekend. I would definiately recommend this resturant!
