I requested an estimate for repairs. He called 15 minutes out, and said he "just finished up having some beers and lunch" and would be at my house soon. When the man arrived with his helper, he was very rude (but the younger guy with him was polite and seemed willing to help). He (the older man) claimed that all washing machines make the loud whining sound that my washer JUST STARTED MAKING. He chose not to continue investigating the problem, and completely ignored that I described the problem as a whining AND a knocking sound. He accused me of trying to get money out of the moving company that damaged my property during my move. I would recommend not wasting your time with this place. I'll call someone who is willing to FIX my washing machine. Poor Poor customer service.......

We had our Samsung washer stop working on a weekend - laundry day. We called several repair companies, with no response. Jan, the owner of Barney's, called us back within 5 minutes of our initial call. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and a class act. He is the kind of guy that you would trust with your family, moreover your washer! He found a solution within minutes of examining our washer. Once the part came in, he came back, installed the part and we are back up and running. Barney's appliance is now our go-to repair company

Jan, the owner, experienced, knowledgeable, and reliable. He was very good at diagnosing problems over the phone and he did outstanding work on our dryer. He has also given excellent advice on our refrigerator as well.
