Great Specialty Food Store but Expensive

This is my "neighborhood" Whole Foods and the place I come to for hard-to-find specialty items, beer, wine and organic foods. I also enjoy their hot food bar, though some of their other stores (Arroyo Pkwy, Glendale, for example) have a much larger selection of prepared food items than this one does. Still, though a bit pricey, I do enjoy shopping here from time to time and have actually found good deals on organic produce from time to time.

Great place to grab lunch - if you have the cash

I have to admit, I go to Whole Foods for lunch all the time, even though it is a tad pricey. They have a great variety of foods on the salad bar, hot bar, and soup bar - plus even more selections at their prepared food counter. Don't expect it all to be good for you - they do a pretty great fried chicken and mashed potatoes on the hot food bar. They also have a great selection of frozen foods if you have a microwave at your office. And for the occasional dinner, their produce and fish section are absolutely wonderful - but pricey.

Pricey but Nice

It might be a bit cost-prohibitive for every day shopping, but for the occasional organic food, homeopathic remedy or decent craft beer, Whole Foods is definitely a great place to shop. Also, though not as large as other locations, their hot food bar, salad bar and deli counter have great ready-to-eat selections as well. In recent months the quality and variety of the beers they sell has decreased a bit, but all in all this is still one of the best places in town to sample a new brew or two. Just beware the crazy parking lot. In fact, you'll find more space if you park in back near Chuck-E-Cheese and Rite Aid, and simply walk down the ramp to the lower level and hang a left to go to Whole Foods.
