I recently took my Golden Retriever there because he had a tumor on his paw. Dr. Giampaolo took excellent care of him. We couldn't be happier with the care that our dog received. The building and office may be old, but the care is excellent.

I recently had a kitten neutered there since I had a certificate from Friends of Animals and they participate. Although I did not see any blatant issues, I was very uncomfortable and a couple of my questions were answered with "I've done it that way for 40 years". My kitten seemed much more stressed than any I ever had. It is cash only-no receipt and no certificate of neuter. When I asked about the paperwork they proved surgery by turning him upside down to show me the surgery was done. Did I see anything specific to criticize - no? Would I go there again - definitely not? 20/20 hindsight tells me I should have put my kitten back in the carrier and walked away the first day.

Before you go here, do a search on NBC10 for this hospital, this guy was on the news for killing animals! I took my cat there perfectly healthy, to have him neutered, and he came out sick, and died less than 2 weeks later, with NO EXPLANATION. The NBC10 investigators did a story on them because this was happening here a lot. Go somewhere else, they don't deserve anyone's business here. The sicker they make your pet, the more money they make off of you!

DINGY. TOOK CARE OF MY PET WHILE THERE WAS A DOG LYING ON THE OTHER EXAM TABLE, STILL UNDER ANESTHESIA, RECOVERING FROM SPAYING.
