Wow!!! It's the best!!!

Have not lived in Pittsburgh area for many years and have only once found a decent Italian restaurant in all that time and have never found a good pizza place. Just visited last week and tried your restaurant.....it is without a doubt the absolute best for pizza, pasta, hoagies (we tried them all). Keep up the good work.

Probably the best pizza ever

Born and raised in Jersey. Know a thing or 2 about pizza. Was transplanted to Georgia 20 years ago and have been on a quest for real pizza ever since, a few come close to "good" NY style pizza but no cigar yet. Spent a couple a few days in Pittsburgh a few months ago a stumbled on this pizza joint on Penn Ave + 20th. Sign said "voted best pizza in Pittsburgh". Yeah right, everybody's place says that right? Took the wife and kids there for lunch. Asked for 2 slices of pepperoni and sausage, the waitress said "hey these are big slices, you sure" I was hungry after watching my wife throw money around at all the little shops on Penn, told her to bring them. Let me tell you guys something. Forget about "N.Y." pizza. This was the best ever. First of all the crust was just between a thin NY and a thick Chicago pizza. The sauce was thick and flavorful and a little on the sweet side. The toppings were real. The pepperoni was dark and spicy, was shredded, kinda chipped up, not round slices, and it was spilling off the pizza. The sausage was to die for, well done and they didn't skimp on that either. It was cooked perfectly, (a little more than less) hot cheesy, great cheese, melting off the sides, flavors busting off everywhere. Forget about NY pizza. I have been thinking about the food at this place since I left. And yes, the slices where monsters, finished the first, put a small dent in the second. If you want a good (and BIG) slice of pie there will be no disappointments trying this place.
