A local staple in the downtown Plano community. James is always friendly and great with all my boys. He always has something interesting to talk about and has stayed late for me many times. The shop truely has that Mayberry feel and the prices to match.

Great Old Time Barber Shop In Old Down Town Plano

This is a one of a kind Barber shop. You never know what story you are going to hear at Plano Barbers. This place isn't a salon, it's a real barber shop. Which as we all know is hard to find now days. The prices are very reasonable too. You don't have that big company feel like everywhere else. It's a got that real old time barber shop feel to it. They take walk ins and appointments and are even open on Monday and Saturday. The shop it self is open Monday thru Saturday around 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. They always stay late for customers when needed and the wait isn't long at all. The place is always busy but never a long wait, so don't assume it will be. It's two brothers that have been in the shop forever. One of the brothers (James Russell) is the owner and Randy Russell is his brother. The shop has some very interesting history and been is the original location since it open. The building is over a hundred years old if that says anything. So stop in and check it out it's the best haircut I've ever gotten. Wouldn't go anywhere else, ask for James or Randy when you go in. It's like you are of the family when you go in. They don't take Credit Cards just a heads up, but they do take cash and check. Best guys you will ever meet!
