In response to "Caliinvestor": I am not sure how you can say GCMAC took you for over 8k when the only fee we require upfront is about $250 for a real estate broker's opinion of value. We do NOT require an appraisal and any inspection fee required is collected at closing. No points are collected upfront. Our loans approvals are strictly based on equity and clean/clear title.
