I have been a customer of Kathy's for almost a decade and she never dissapoints. I have hard trusting barbers and she does very good job. Jackie also is great at what she does so hopefulyl the two will merge again! Great locaiton and service.

Been going to this place for 4 years. Great haircuts always open to new things and gives great input.

This place is so unprofessional. They have their hours posted but they are never there when I've tried to stop by. They state walkins are welcome but they never have any time available if you are a walkin. The employees aren't helpful at all and would rather argue with you than provide a solution. They were also very quick to remind me that they were closed Saturday, even though their hours state differently. This place is very unprofessional and the only recommendation I would make to friends and family is to never go there. They only got a star from me because it was required.

I am new to San Antonio and gave New U a try. Best place ever! Wonderful haircut, relaxed friendly environment. New U is now my permanent barber.

A friend recommended this barbershop to me so I decided to check it out. I am pretty picky who cuts my hair but Kathy did an excellent job. She offered me something to drink right when I walked in. She was very nice and took her time cutting my hair. I could tell she had years of experience. I would defiantly recommend her for anybody that wants a well above average haircut.

These ladies are the only one who are going to ever touch my hair again!! The service is great. The atmosphere is wonderful. I don't have much hair but what I do have looks great after getting it cut. Their attention to detail is what really impresses me.



If you have not tried New U do so. You will be very happy you did.

Attention to detail and great customer service. I will return. You get what you pay for. Not the $7.00 in and out production line service.

I brought my husband a gift certificate from New U Barber shop. He is very picky and doesn't like change. I was very surprise to hear that he loved his visit there... The stylist made him feel very comfortable and made sure he was satisfied with his haircut... He loved the hot towel and neck massage.... I would recommand this place to all the men in my family.... Sports, beer, hot towel and great customer service what else can you ask for... My husband has been back several times already and is always happy, which makes me happy to know he is being taken care!!!! Thanks New U for making my husband handsome again...... lol ;)

I have been looking for a place to get my hair cut... I happened to run across New U barber shop and was very impress with my hair cut and service. I didn't mind waiting since I didn't have an appointment ( next time I will book one ) while I was waiting I was offered a cold beer and it was great not just the beer but the whole experience... Kat does a great job and made me feel like a million bucks... I would highly recommand this shop to all my friends.... I wish her the best and all the success in the world... Like other posters here, I too have been following Ms. Kathy for over 5 years. Already an accomplished stylist, she is now capitalizing on her many years in the business to create a place men WANT to go to get their hair cut. I don't need T&A like at Knockouts, or the uncaring customer serviceike at Floaters... I have been a customer of Kats for 5 years now. I have followed her where ever she has gone. Now that she has opened up her own shop (NEW U) I didn't wait a min. Every time I have been in her shop a new customer will walk in and ask her if she knows how to cut hair. After the first cut they become customers just like myself. Best customer services and reasonable prices. If you need a great hair cut, stop getting your hair messed up and go to NEW U!
