Provided by YP.com2 months ago i contacted our fiberglass pool manufacture to report an issue with 1 of the 3 pool lights that are in our fiberglass pool. One of the lights was not syncing with the other 2 and would not show white light only colors. I was informed by our manufacturer that our lights were no longer under warranty and i would have to go through pool mart to address the issue. Pool mart sent a technician out to diagnosis the problem and i was informed that the light was no longer working and would need to be replaced. We then received a bill for over $500 stating that the light and service call had been done, the light had not even been installed yet. I received a call last week stating that the technician had now replaced the light but could not get it to sync correctly and would have to contact the light manufacturing company to request further instructions. I informed my husband, and he went out to look at the light, the damn thing was not event attached to to pool wall, came right out of the socket casing. I received a call today to inform me that the technician that replaced the light had failed to put on a adapter that is now needed due to our lights are no longer being made and a new updated light was put in, further more i was told that because the manufacture no longer makes the model that is currently in our pool we will have to have to replace the other 2 in order to get the lights to work, this would involve an added service call of $400 plus $300 per light. Wow what a company, we should have been told all of this prior to any service being done. I can not believe the total hassle and the missed information that this company provided. very poor business ethics in my opinion.
