CONSIGNEES BE WARNED!!! Feel very very taken advantage of by White Peacock Bridal!

I dropped of my $2500 Enzoani Dakota wedding dress to the White Peacock Bridal in April of 2014. The contract was up in November of 2014. I called November 13th to see if I should come get the dress. I was advised by the White Peacock Bridal to leave my dress as they were busy, brides were interested and they hoped it would sell soon. I was not told to re-sign a contract, there was NO mention of the contract in this call. I had concern about the dress being donated, I would never want my beautiful expensive dress donated! I was assured that they do not donate dresses easily and I would be informed if they intended to donate the dress but the chance was very null. I have never worked with a consignment shop before so I was trusting and left the dress there despite my husbands concerns to go in and check on it. I called the White Peacock bridal (3/31/2015) and left a message checking in on the dress. I received a call back a week later (4/3/2015) from the owner of the store stating that my contract was up in November 2014, they had left me 3 messages (first it was 1 message then changed to 3 by the end of the phone call) in November telling me to come and get the dress and since I did not reply they donated it!! Heartbroken and very upset I told her I called in November and was advised to keep the dress there. She went on to tell me she would have never had me keep the dress there without re-signing a contract. Now if I was told this I would have been there in 3 minutes to re-sign a contract as I live approx 3 miles from the White Peacock Bridal. I asked for proof of the message(s) as I never received any message(s) she could not provide that information. After the very unpleasant phone conversation I went to my phone statements and found a 3 minute phone call I made to her store November 13th, 2014 and did not find ANY inbound calls from White peacock bridal from 9/2014 - 3/2015. I sent the owner an email with the phone statement showing the November 13th call and told her I would be happy to provide statements showing that I never received any message(s) from her shop about donation. In an email I asked for proof of donation, when the dress was donated and where it was donated to. If she could not provide me with this information I notified her that I would need to share my story with the public to warn other brides. Her reply was that my contract has been up for 6 months, clearly states the dress would be donated 15 days afetr the contract was up and I did not fulfill my obligation so she donated it. She stated that if I write negative reviews of the White Peacock Bridal that she will take legal action and she had already contacted a lawyer! She made no mention of the proof I had that I had called in November or the message(s) she claimed she left but there is no proof of. In a later email she made it clear she was not going to tell when/where she donated the dress or give me proof of donation of my $2500 wedding dress.

Interestingly enough I saw on Facebook she had posted the same exact Enzoani Dakota dress 3-22-2015. I cannot be sure if this is my dress even if it is not why is she donating the same dresses she has in her store? She will give me no answers. She only throws out the lawyer and the contract card.

I understand I should have followed up better. I never thought I would be lied to and taken advantage of :(
