I have just had my 2nd plantar fascitis surgery and again it has worked. Dr. Sklar did the other one 6 years ago on my right foot and not only was it successful but I have not had any problems since with my foot. On my job I stand 12 hours at a time on concrete in safety-toe shoes and these surgeries have been life savers. Dr. Sklar is very pasionate towards his patients and truly cares about your problems not like other doctors. He is also very knowledgable and a top expert in his field of medicine. I recommend everyone to go to him with any kind of foot problems. One of my co-workers who is a marathon runner across the U.S. recommended Dr.Sklar to me and it has been a blessing indeed. Also his staff are super girls who are very friendly, fast in processing you in and out, and they know their jobs very well. Great doctor and staff!!!

Went to Dr Sklar for laser treatment for terrible fungal nails a few months ago. I was cautious at first when I began the medication/topicals to help treat it. He told me it would be 2-3 months before I noticed any difference. He was very confident in the treatment & his methods used. Now so am I, it has been 5 months and they are looking normal again! I had bunion surgery done by Dr. Sklar a few months back. At my consultation I relayed all my concerns with having surgery. I was most concerned about time off my feet and healing time. Dr. Sklar explained the procedure in detail. He was very knowledgable, professional and put me at great ease. Surgery went so well I wish I would have done it a long time ago! I had surgery on a Thursday and I was back to work on Monday. My insurance did not cover the entire balance. Dr Sklar's office helped me work out a payment plan that was affordable to me.
