Dr. Sarah Smith saved my sister's dogs life! While baby sitting my nephew's (chihuahua) one of my own dogs attacked ChiChi. Without Dr. Smith coming in after hours ChiChi would not be with us today. Dr. Smith acted quickly and showed so much compassion. I recommend Sangamon Ave Vet Clinic to all my friends and family.Thank you to all the staff.

I took my older cat into be boarded there a few months ago and he was given a senior wellness test the 1st day and it was found that he had tightness and pain in his stomach and needed blood work. Unfortunately none of this information was passed to me until the day I picked him up 2 weeks late, by that time his kidney's had shut down completely an was near death and less than 24 hours after picking him up I had to have him euthanized. Not one e-mail, not one little phone call, nothing amiss. Apparently none of the staff was told either since they merrily treated him as if he was well and just a finicky eater. And for that I was given a cheap generic apology. Not accepted! If I found an injured animal across from Sangamon Avenue Vet Clinic I would mercifully take it somewhere else.

I took my sick cat here a week ago and have never had better service! The doctor called to check on my kitty the next day and everyone was very helpful. My kitty (Callie) is feeling so much better! Thanks to them!
