      This is a great, casual place to eat. The food is always fresh. The service is always great. The patio is our favorite. It has heaters and a fire place. There is a large smoking section if you like. Great people watching from the sidewalk side patio.Our favorite place to eat on Main st. Give it a try!

      The food is good, but the service leaves something to be desired. The salads are always fresh and the steaks are always good.

      Located in the heart of downtown Ventura at 632 E. Main St. for over 15 years, Winchesters has established itself as THE place casual diners and imbibers come to relax and enjoy. Whether it’s one of the cozy booths under the watchful eye of “The Duke”, or facing Main St. on one of their two heated patios, or even ‘bellied-up” to the 40 foot mahogany bar, there’s just not a bad seat in the house. Winchesters serves up the freshest seafood, succulent chicken, and even some exotic meats like venison, buffalo, and elk. But don’t forget about those Certified Angus Beef™ steaks. Whether it’s the one-pound Rib-Eye, the petite Top Sirloin, the New York or Tri-Tip they’re always thick and juicy and grilled to perfection.
