I had my Volvo's headliner redone by The Stitcher. The headliner looked good but multiple electrical problems were found with the car (door open light was constantly illuminated, dome lights did not work, fasten seatbelt indicator did not work). After this experience I was not thrilled at the prospect of having The Stitcher fix the electrical problems especially given the car is a 2001 and SIPS is involved. I took the car to the Volvo dealership to fix the electrical problems. End result: Headliner replacement cost nearly $1000. When I called The Stitcher to complain I was screamed at by the owner.

In terms of the quality of the headliner it looked great and the work was done at a reasonable price. My wife discovered, however, the door open indicator was continually on during the trip home. Further investigation revealed the dome lights did not work under any switch setting and the fasten seatbelt indicator also did not function. I wasn't excited about returning to The Stitcher to fix the electrical work so the car was brought to the Volvo dealership. End result: Roughly $640 to fix the crimped wiring which had shorted directly to ground and to mate the wiring connectors which had been mismatched by The Stitcher. Reason I would not recommend The Stitcher: The Volvo dealership discovered other problems which I had not. Significantly, the brake lights of the car were not functional as a result of the short to ground, a significant safety concern.

I brought my Porsche 911 there, they were done in hours, but it was horrible. The new roof didn't fit right, it's all bunched up on both sides, and the rubber molding came out the sides within days. Now the rain leaks in on me. I tried to bring it back to them and the old man who works in the front of the shop just screams at his customers when they do that. The shop has a big attitude problem and puts out mediocre work.
