**Warning** I took my 3 week old puppy for a subq ringers for slight dehydration. He squeezed down on his fontanelle spot very hard twice and puppy was in pain with a bruise. I lost my puppy hours later. I regret ever having gone there.

We found this Veterinary Hospital because it was in our neighborhood. We booked an office visit to have our pets checked and give them their anual vaccinations. THEY WILL OVERCHARGE! I compared our bill to others in the Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan areas. The Doctor pulls a fast one by giving multiple shots when combined vaccinations are standard procedure elsewhere. Also his "in-house" lab results are double else where.

I WILL NEVER TAKE MY PETS HERE AGAIN, I ADVISE ALL TO DO THE SAME.

As a pet owner the relationship with your Veterinarian is a relationship of trust, If they will overcharge you at the regular care, what will they do at the point of an emergency.

I've been taking my dog to Tri-boro Animal Hospital for many years I'm very pleased with her Vet Dr. Marienberg he is a very loving, caring compassionate doctor I trust him and his staff with my dog's life. They make me feel comfortable as well as my dog we love going there for her check up and shots because I know she is going to be taken good care of. Dr. Marienberg and his staff are very friendly and loving. I would have gave them more stars cause is well deserved so I do recommend the Tri-boro Animal Hospital to take good care of your animals. Thank you for your wonderful services. Jeannette T

I am not sure who Wilson R went to see but what he wrote is not a description of the vet Dr Marienberg that I know. Each and every time that I have gone to his office he has always answered every question I have asked. He has been very informative in explaining the possibilities of why my dog was not feeling well. And yes one time he did recommend that I take my dog to the Animal hospital in Manhattan. My dog needed a certain scan that his office isn't equipped to do. His staff is always professional and friendly as well.

I took my dog there for the first time on 3/29/14 for a check up.

Dr. William Marienberg displayed no interest or concern to give my dog a check up. He actually told me that he was only a general practoner and if I wanted someone of a higher caliber and level of doctor, to go to the Animal Medical center. He offered no level of competence, skill or ability, and remotely displayed no concern, or knowledege to my questions or suggestions to the concerns I had about my dog. If ever dr. Marienberg was a qualified, capable, skilled vet, that must have been at least 40 years ago. What is left know is a comatose, down for the count, used up, shell of man portraying the capabilities, knowledege and interest of a box of rocks.

Good grooming services

My dog was extremely antsy going in and they warned me they might have to sedate her to get her through the grooming. They were patient enough with her to get her through it without the sedation which was a relief to my wallet! She looked like a diva show dog and smelled fabulous afterward. Big thumbs up!

To the reviewer that stated the vet didn't give good care to his dog. I have had more than one dog that has had to have a tumor removed and Dr. Marienberg kept me informed every step of the way. If I had questions he answered all of my questions. As a pet owner I appreciate that he would explain what procedure needed to be done and/or what he suspected the cause could be for my pet feeling ill. I don't know what vet you took your dog to but it most certainly WAS NOT Dr. Marienberg. I have been taking my dogs to him for over 20 years. His style has always been the same with me and other patients that I would see in the other room waiting for him.. When one of my dogs had a tumor removed and I brought him home Dr. Marienberg called me everyday to ask how the dog was doing. He always told me if I was concerned about something to feel free to call him. If I didn't know that my dogs weren't getting the very best vet care I would have stopped going to him a long long time ago!

Dr. Marienberg is an extraordinary veterinarian! He was so concerned about our sick cat, he followed up with an evening house visit! His team is caring and knowledgable, all of whom go above and beyond any other veterinary hospital staff.I highly recommend Dr. Marienberg.

I had to take my lab/rottie mix to this place...he had tumor removed and the so called vet offered no antibiotics or any meds for pain-other than telling me to give the dog ibuprofin and benadril. The tumor was just below the rectum-and you would think a vet would have offered an e-collar so that the dog would not lick or gnaw at his healing wound-you would be wrong. The vet said he was doing a biopsy and has yet to tell me the results even though I have spoken to this man four times since my dog's surgery. This man is greedy and nasty...He is the worst vet I have ever come into contact with and should be investigated. IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DO NOT TAKE HIM TO THIS PLACE.

I have an 11 week old Yorkie who Dr. Marienberg has been treating for the last month. The entire staff is very helpful, informative and personable. My puppy has recieved a series of shots and was treated for a cough. Dr. Marienberg is very good with him and I'm sure others will agree that he knows his job. The facility also does animal grooming and boarding. I recommend this vet to anyone looking for good healthcare for their pet(s).

Triboro staff really do care. They are warm, friendly, and supportive. Dr M knows his craft and tells you the way it is and the way it should be. I've had pets for over 30 years and this is one of the 2 best animal hospitals I've ever used.--TDA
