I went to casey's on 10/11/13 because i was smelling antifreeze and my car wasn't heating properly. I was told i needed a coolant outlet housing (89.95)and a oil sending unit(29.95) which is a total of 119.90 ,then they charged me 179.95 for putting the housing unit on plus 20.00 for refilling my coolant then another 49.95 for putting in the oil sending unit plus shop supplies 15.25 (whatever that is?) My grand total came out to be $400.07. Then on 11/8/13 I had to take it back because i was still smells antifreeze and my car still wasn't heating, this time he told me i needed a water pump and a thermostats(250.00) plus $850.00 in labor that was the estimate they gave me.(LOL) , F_ _ _ K YOU Darin k and Joe c , at elgin casey ,1170 N. McLean . DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEM THEY ARE A MAJOR RIPOFF! ......and this sucks because in order to post this i have to give them atleast 1star when they should be -10 stars

I came in needing what I thought was a muffler replacement. I was told my muffler looked pretty bad but probably wasn't the problem. They told me I could 1)replace everything from the block back, 2)replace the muffler, or 3) have them graft in a fresh piece of connector pipe in front of the muffler and that would probably solve my problem.I went with the pipe for $90 and 30 minutes of wait and was back on the road. I felt that was very honest. They saved me $350 and a lot of time. Most places try to upsell you to work you don't need. I was very surprised and pleased with the no pressure approach. Very honest. I was very happy with the service and the honest diagnosis.

I had a puncture in my steer tire and just made it there before it went flat last winter. Talk about a lifesaver. First time ice had done that to my veh. Had been glad Darren and Joe could get me in right away before they closed. thanks guys

I was in the Elgin store a few months back to have a slow leak in my tire looked at and repaired. 267.00 later leak returns on a weekly basis. I go into the store to have them look up my records , as I have misplaced my receipt, and they have NO record of doing any such work. Scam. They will be hearing from me again. I have a copy of my c.c slip. Very dissappointed!!!!!
